It is our experience with manual torque wrenches that approximately +/- 3% is standard when considering manual (“clicker-type”) torque wrenches. I say “approximately” because care must be taken as this changes from manufacturer to manufacturer. Some manual torque wrenches can be within design tolerances at +/- 6%. Also manual torque wrenches can also have a different design tolerance depending on whether it is being tested in the clockwise or counter clock wise direction.
